The Red Barns just made their statement in the late winter of 2009; I had to capture them with the limited light the late days of winter offer. The camera and I made our way through the New England States and when the light was right, the image was taken.  Old Barns are as beautiful as the are gone from the landscapes.   The 1800 barn is captured in the Old Barn series, Red Barns ads a new depth to my work showing the power of light and patience, for red is difficult color to capture well!  Canon rebel camera, never a flash, never a filter.  All images made from negative from notecard size to full canvas prints.
